Stoneware storage jar made by hand from a lump of speckled clay, thrown by hand on the wheel in several parts which are then individually pieced together. Fired in the kiln when dry, the piece is then signed, waxed, and coated in a reactive glaze and placed back in the kiln for one final 1230 degree centigrade firing.
Dishwasher and microwave safe though discouraged for longevity.
