Stoneware cup made using a lump of reclaimed clay, thrown and turned on the wheel by hand. Bisque fired once when dry, signed, waxed and coated in a glossy transparent glaze. The piece is then placed back in the kiln for its 1230 degree centigrade glaze firing. Transfers of Paige's sketchbook line drawings are then cut and individually placed onto the piece and smoothed into place. The cup is then put back into the kiln for its third and final firing.
Each cup has a different selection of transfers/drawings. Please leave a note with your order if you’re after a specific design.
